PURPOSE OF THE COURSE
In the RAID Advanced Freediver course you acquire the Proper skills and knowledge to partake in Freediving to depths of 30 meters in the most relaxed and safest manner possible. You will develop skills necessary to train your body to be more efficient with oxygen, gain better respiration and muscle flexibility and learn new skills to explore your Freediving potential to the maximum.
NOTE: Persons new to freediving - this Level provides you with a worldwide recognised diver certification to be able to freedive in a safe and concise way.
This programme is broken into two sections:
FIRST SECTION - THEORY
This is the theory or academic section, which any person may take and complete, followed, without obligation, the Practical Section which is the session where you can learn, with your Instructor, the underwater skills necessary for this level of training and complete your certification.

SECOND SECTION - PRACTICAL TRAINING
With your RAID Instructor
Confined water - minimum 2 Freediving sessions
This is where the theroy goes into practice, more advanced techniques for Freediving that you will use for a lifetime are developed during the confined water sessions, relaxation and managing stress, Advanced techniques like No-Fins and Static Apnea training, the buddy system and safety are all covered, the confined water sessions are like an open water simulator, this gives you the chance to become comfortable with the Freediving skills before taking them to Open Water.
Open Water - minimum 4 Freediving sessions
Advanced Frenzel Equalizatione for ease of depth and the magic of the Freefall
The real action happens in the open water where we can explore our own potential and the amazing underwater world, put all the confined water practice into play and further develop your Freediving skills like Advanced Frenzel Equalizatione for ease of depth and the magic of the Freefall so you become comfortable and confident with freediving to depths safely.

Upon successfully passing the practical training you receive:
World Series Freediving International Recognized Freediver Certification

PREREQUISITES for the Practical Training
Certified RAID Freediver or equivalent.
To be a minimum of 15 years old (with written guardian consent up to the age of 18 yrs).
